Job Description: iOS Architect


We are seeking an experienced and talented iOS Architect to lead the design and development of advanced functionalities for our iOS platform. You will work on creating cutting-edge mobile apps for hearing aids, contribute to innovative solutions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of advanced functionalities for the iOS platform.
  • Ensure robustness, usability, and performance through extensive testing, including Unit and Integration Tests.
  • Contribute to the vision of future mobile apps for hearing aids by creating outstanding mobile solutions.
  • Take ownership of developed modules, driving continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with scrum teams, system feature teams, product teams, and embedded software teams.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance development and testing efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide developers on best practices for iOS development.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and memory management topics like weak self.
  • Expertise in advanced topics such as async/await, Combine, and UI development using code (without Storyboards, XIBs, etc.).
  • Experience with architectures like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Prior experience with Bluetooth integration is a plus.
  • Depth of familiarity with Cocoa Touch (UIKit, Foundation), Combine, and Swift Package Manager.
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Substantial experience in developing high-quality iOS apps with a strong agile mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and solve problems effectively.

Your Profile:

  • Personality and Working Practice: Agile, self-motivated, self-organized, team player with an open-source mindset, open to international collaboration.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as a Software Developer and as a technical lead or architect in iOS development.
  • Enthusiasm: Passionate about writing clean, readable, and testable code.
