Shift - US shift - 6.00 pm to 3.00 am
About the Role -
This is an individual contributor role, would require the candidate to work in US shift hours and work from the office. Supporting Indirect Tax and supplemental Returns as part of the role in Compliance team for Sales & Use or other Tax types. This role is based within the Global Returns Services in Pune, India.
A demanding role where attention to detail is extremely important. Working with a range of different types of clients in different jurisdictions, providing regular Sales & Use Tax return filings along with all other associated filings (e.g. Prepayment returns, Local returns).
Candidates will be expected to have worked in a previous Tax and Accounting type function and be conversant with concepts such as Nexus,
Customer focused with excellent communication skills you will be able to explain and convey information clearly to clients.
Role & Responsibilities -
You need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as it involves connecting with stake holders.
You will work closely with clients from diverse industries, providing tailored support for their tax compliance needs.
You and your team will focus on continuous process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance operations.
Regularly collaborate with onsite teams and stakeholders in the US to address any compliance issues or changes in tax regulations.
Utilize clearly explain complex tax matters to clients, providing guidance and resolving queries effectively.
As a team player, you will participate in cross-functional projects aimed at system improvements or process changes
