Job Title: Financial Analyst – Regulatory Reporting & Data Governance Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 1 to 4 years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with 1 to 4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Regulatory, Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in regulatory reporting, automation using Alteryx, and data governance practices. This role will involve analyzing financial data, streamlining processes, automating manual workflows, and ensuring data accuracy and quality in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position is based in Bangalore, India. Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and manage regulatory reports, including SEC, FFIEC031 (Call Report), and FRY9 C submissions for both domestic and foreign schedules.
- Automation and Process Improvement: Lead automation initiatives using tools like Alteryx to reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency. Successfully implemented FX Rates and Accrued Interest Payments (AIP) automation, saving significant time for the team.
- Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify variances, provide commentary, and support decision-making by collaborating with stakeholders and line-of-business contacts.
- Data Governance: Work on identifying and resolving Data Quality Issues, ensuring data governance standards are adhered to, and making reporting processes more streamlined and efficient.
- Technology Partnership: Collaborate with technology teams to migrate processes from legacy systems to modern platforms such as AWS.
- Process Optimization: Use lean tools like Value Stream Mapping and techniques such as Kaizen to identify inefficiencies and reduce lead times in financial reporting and operations. Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Graduation/MBA in Finance or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance, and Automation.
- Proficiency in Alteryx for process automation and reconciliation.
- Experience in U. S. Regulatory Reporting (SEC, FFIEC031, FRY9 C) is preferred.
- Strong skills in Data Governance and resolving data quality issues.
- Exposure to AWS and understanding of migrating processes to cloud-based platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
