As Clinical Drug Development Enterprise Architect in the Life Science Industry, you will help the clients to leverage a converging set of technologies to create value through all the value chain (R&D, clinical and patient experience) and support key account connections with the main actors of pharma and biotechnology industry across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with customer on defining the enterprise roadmap, architecting solution approaches, evaluating technology options or solution providers
Research and identify new business opportunities - including growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and new ways of reaching existing markets.
Takes lead role in proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to clients.
Serves as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem solving skills.
Identifies issues of importance to the industry/clients and works with Co E Leaders and/or Geographic to develop tangible and commercial offerings
Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
Meet with customers/clients and develop relationships with customers/clients
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
Support the development of the business sales and marketing strategy.
Participate to the delivery of transformation projects.
Help clients design, deliver, and adopt digital technologies to improve their competitiveness. Bridge the gap between business and technology, create the transformational roadmap and improve the clients’ capability.
Identification and assessment of improvement opportunities; bringing these together in a transformation roadmap
Leading a cross functional team driving change to deliver business value.
Delivering C-level presentations and facilitating workshops with higher management.
Creating new propositions to grow existing and new client accounts.
Clinical Data Architecture:
Design and implement scalable clinical data architectures to support trial management, data capture, and regulatory submissions.
Ensure integration of clinical data systems across platforms to streamline data flow and improve data quality.
Develop and maintain data models and data governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.
Data Integration & Optimization:
Architect solutions for integrating clinical data from multiple sources (e.g., CTMS, EDC, safety databases) into centralized repositories.
Optimize data workflows to enhance data accessibility, analytics, and real-time reporting for clinical teams.
Data Governance & Compliance:
Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as Gx P, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Define and enforce data quality rules and ensure data accuracy across clinical operations.
Technology Evaluation:
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools in clinical data management to enhance data processing, automation, and analysis capabilities.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, IT, and regulatory, to align data architecture with business goals.
Lead data architecture initiatives, providing guidance to junior architects and ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory needs.
Automation & Efficiency:
Develop and implement automated data pipelines to streamline data validation, cleansing, and integration.
Drive the adoption of AI/ML tools for advanced clinical data analytics and insights
Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's Degree is a must. Master of Science and/or MBA is a preference.
15+ year experience in the Consulting industry, preferably in Life Sciences Consulting.
Should have experience implementing SCE platform for large platform
Requires deep expertise in one or more Life Science Drug Development areas like (Pre Clinical, Clinical Trial Management, Safety Regulatory, Data Management, Analytics and Reporting and/or Submissions)area along with knowledge of all other practices.
Experience in clinical processes and must have been part of implementation of clinical systems and solutions for large pharma
Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in technologies and tools in the clinical area.
Strong knowledge of clinical products from Medidata, Veeva within the Trial Management and Data management space, SCE Platforms
Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
Knowledge of consulting frameworks, methodologies, tools and technique, TOGAF and / or Archimate certifiied
Demonstrated problem solving, strategic thinking and planning, project management, people management, change management skills
Ability to drive significant business results to contribute to the growth of the Life Sciences consulting business
Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace and professional/trade associations key people and companies
Confident to lead multi-resources engagements and multiple engagements at the same time
Excellent writing, communicating, presenting and facilitating for all level of audience
Able to provide direction, coaching and guidance to junior resources
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Passionate about Healthcare and Life Sciences with high level of energy, drive and enthusiasm
Flexibility to travel 30% of the time with the requirement to work away from the base office location.
