With a commitment to long-term success, they empower clients and society to move confidently into the digital future.Job Description:• Develop and maintain embedded software on Linux-based platforms• Work extensively on Linux kernel, device drivers, and BSP customization• Perform board bring-up, bootloader (U-Boot) configuration, kernel builds, and system initialization• Analyze kernel logs, debug stability issues, and resolve system crashes, locks, and abnormal resets• Build embedded Linux systems using Yocto / Buildroot• Work with host–target toolchains, cross-compilers, and embedded hardware• Collaborate with hardware teams: study schematics, TRMs, datasheets, silicon errata• Use debugging tools like JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers• Develop multithreaded/multiprocess applications and follow strong software engineering practices• Prepare design documents, specifications, test plans, and reports.Mandatory Skills:✔ 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Embedded C programming✔ 3+ years’ experience in Linux Kernel & Device Driver development✔ Strong understanding of OS fundamentals, multithreading & multiprocessing✔ Experience with U-Boot, kernel compilation, Linux startup sequence, filesystems✔ Hands-on experience with Yocto / Buildroot✔ Skilled in debugging using JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers✔ Strong kernel debugging skills: crash analysis, system locks, resets✔ Proficiency with Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, SourceTree✔ Ability to read schematics, datasheets, TRMs✔ Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Desired Skills:• Ability to mentor junior engineers• System-level debugging / reverse engineering / Linux Internals knowledge• Experience with RTOS (Zephyr, FreeRTOS, etc.)• Good understanding of open-source software ecosystem• Ability to collaborate with technical leads and project managers• Positive attitude and willingness to work across domains
