Roles and Responsibilities: Provide Level 3 support for Web Sphere Application Server environments, including installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Experience in implementation project with building and providing consulting to manage the Middleware stack for complex architecture. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence. Implement Dev Ops practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks related to Web Sphere environments. Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and apply patches as necessary. Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 support for critical production issues as required. Provide support and participate in the CAB and change control process. Experience in OS platforms (Linux, Windows, Web Sphere, VTOM, Tomcat, m Remote NG.) and have expertise on Linux Server and Application Management Set up monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk to gain insights into Web Sphere performance and operational metrics. Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Power Shell, Python, or similar languages to automate routine tasks, deployments, and configuration changes. Participate in Dev Ops practices such as automated testing, continuous monitoring, and iterative development to ensure seamless integration. Required Skills: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Preferred Skills: IBM Certified System Administrator - Web Sphere Application Server. Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Ia C) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - Web Sphere Application Server, Oracle Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Microsoft AZURE Cloud certifications) are advantageous. Familiarity with ITIL practices and certification preferred to ensure adherence to industry best practices and service management standards. Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
