About the Role:
Pixis is looking for a talented Motion Graphics Designer to create high-quality animations and motion graphics across various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and video content. In this role, you will work closely with the design, marketing, and video production teams to bring creative concepts to life through animations and visual effects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and animate high-impact motion graphics tailored for gaming video advertisement and promotional content.
Lead the ideation process to create engaging visuals that align with the fast-paced, dynamic nature of the gaming industry.
Oversee end-to-end design and animation processes, ensuring high-quality output within tight deadlines.
Work closely with the creative director, production managers, and junior designers to deliver cohesive and visually compelling gaming video projects.
Artists will be assigned projects at various stages of production including VFX, 2 D motion graphics animation, rotoscoping, resizing and cleanup for final delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred
MUST have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience and a professional portfolio showcasing motion graphics work with a clear focus on gaming or interactive media
Advance knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, in Design.
Proficiency in 3 D tools like Cinema 4 D, Blender, or Unreal Engine is a strong advantage.
Must have strong design skills and an eye for typography is necessary.
Knowledge of social video best practices
Detailed knowledge of digital formats and language (i.e. Aspect Ratios, Frame Rates, Action/Title Safe Areas and Codecs, etc.)
Great organizational skills: file management, naming convention, project organization of software, plugins, assets, fonts, etc.
A team player who is motivated, organized, and able to work within a collaborative environment, while being flexible and adaptable
Capable of working within a fast-paced environment while thinking creatively and responding to changing priorities
