Job Title: Appian Lead Developer Location: Chennai/Mumbai/Bangalore/Pune/Noida/Hyderabad Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant experience in Appian We are seeking a skilled Appian Lead Developer with over 5 years of experience in Appian BPM implementations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the architecture, design, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions, collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams.

A strong understanding of Appian objects, enterprise-level architecture, and integration is required, along with hands-on experience in Appian plugin development.

Key Responsibilities: Architect & Design Solutions: Lead the design and delivery of Appian BPM applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level architecture.

Automation Solutions: Build, test, and deliver intelligent automation solutions using industry-leading vendor technologies.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams, following agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Appian Object Development: Hands-on experience with Appian objects such as Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Expression Rules, Constants, Web API, Interface Rules, Process Models, Data Stores, and Integrations.

End-to-End Implementation: Execute end-to-end Appian BPM implementations including design, development, deployment, and packaging.

Infrastructure & System Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge in Appian infrastructure architecture (In-Memory KDB Engines, Topology, Sizing), as well as servers like JBOSS, TOMCAT, and Apache.

Integration: Integrate with external systems via Web Services (SOAP, REST) and ESBs such as Mule Soft.

Plugin Development: Hands-on experience in developing Appian Plugins (Smart Services, Function Plugins, Servlet Plugins), Connected Systems, and Component UI Plugins.

SAIL and Portals: Proficiency in Embedded SAIL and Appian Portals.

J2 EE Patterns: Experience with J2 EE design patterns like JSPs, Java Servlets, EJBs, JDBC.

Agile & CICD Tools: Comfortable working within Safe Agile environments and using CICD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git Hub.

Client Engagement: Provide technical support to clients, understanding their business issues and offering tailored solutions.

Team Support: Support the engagement team and management, contributing as a key team member.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Appian BPM Expertise: Deep knowledge of Appian objects (Records, Sites, Expression Rules, Process Models, Integrations, etc.).

End-to-End Appian Implementation: Proven experience in at least one complete Appian BPM implementation.

Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of Appian Process/Solution and Infrastructure Architecture, including In-Memory KDB Engines and scaling solutions.

Server Experience: Experience with App Servers (JBOSS, TOMCAT) and Web Servers (Apache).

Integration Skills: Hands-on experience integrating with external systems using Web Services (SOAP/REST) and ESBs (Mule Soft).

Appian Plugins Development: Experience in developing Appian Plugins (Smart Services, Function, Servlet Plugins).

Authentication & Security: Sound knowledge of configuring authentication between external systems.

Agile & CICD Tools: Ability to work within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies and experience using CICD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Git Hub).

Communication & Presentation: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to clients effectively.

Client Support: Ability to provide technical support and understand client business challenges.

Preferred Skills: Experience with Embedded SAIL and Appian Portals.

Knowledge of J2 EE Design Patterns such as JSPs, Java Servlets, and EJBs.

Hands-on experience with CICD technologies.
