Job Description:
7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure Databricks and Spark.
Proficiency in Python and Py Spark for data processing and analysis.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, Spark, and Azure Data Factory.
Experience with Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Lakehouse architecture.
Strong understanding of ETL best practices, including incremental data loads and optimization techniques for large datasets.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts in a lakehouse environment.
Experience with Spark Structured Streaming for real-time data processing.
Desired candidate:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in Python and Py Spark for data processing and analysis.
Hands-on experience with Azure services and Databricks.
Create and manage Delta Tables for efficient data storage and retrieval, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Ability to design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
