Position: Jr. Merchandiser / Product Development Coordinator

Golden Coir Tufts, a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium coir and doormats, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Merchandiser / Product Development Coordinator  to join our dynamic team in Pollachi.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure timely development and launch of innovative products.
Assist in creating product specifications and ensure they adhere to quality standards.
Track and monitor project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to streamline product development processes.
Conduct market research to identify trends, materials, and opportunities for innovation.
Prepare progress reports and present findings to the management team.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and find effective solutions in product development.
Qualifications Education : GOOD proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
Experience : Previous experience in product development or merchandising, preferably in the home textile industry, is an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
