The ideal candidate will have US federal corporate income tax experience as well as practical experience in supporting ASC 740 income tax accounting for US headquartered organization. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting and Compliance and is a key contributor to US tax operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare Federal income tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments using compliance softwareSupport the quarterly and annual US GAAP foreign tax provision process (ASC740), including the preparation of calculations and supporting workpapersMonitor changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to the teamAssist with the use of technology applications to help streamline and automate tax compliance and provision workflowsHelp identify potential tax risks or notice-related issues and escalate them to tax management for reviewAssist with ad-hoc projects as neededQualificationsPreferred QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of related experience; previous Big 4 experience a plusMust be self-directed with strong organizational skills and receptive to working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in multiple time zonesAnalytical mind-set to approaching problems and strong attention to detailThe ability to operate independently and manage multiple projectsProficiency in leveraging AI/ML and Gen AI to automate ASC 740 and compliance workflows, assessing associated risks.Proficient with Corptax compliance software requiredProficient with Onesource Tax Provision (OTP) softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and teamwork skillsProficient with Alteryx and SAP a plusAdditional InformationThe TeamOur Tax department manages all things tax including direct and indirect tax compliance and financial reporting for income taxes.
