Role Summary:

The Personal Assistant (PA) at Book My Accountant (BMA) will act as a key support to the leadership team, providing expertise in accounting and taxation while taking responsibility for guiding and managing employees. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure smooth operations within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Taxation Support:
  1. Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, tax returns, and compliance documentation.
  2. Provide guidance on GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings.
  3. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure timely reporting.

  • Employee Management:
  1. Supervise and guide employees across different departments to meet organizational goals.
  2. Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
  3. Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Administrative Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule and manage meetings, appointments, and events for the leadership team.
  2. Maintain and update operational policies, processes, and documentation.
  3. Handle correspondence, communications, and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strategic Coordination:
  1. Act as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring smooth communication.
  2. Work closely with the leadership team to implement strategies and achieve business objectives.
  3. Identify and resolve operational issues proactively.

  • Client Interaction:
  1. Address client inquiries and provide support for accounting and taxation-related concerns.
  2. Ensure that client deliverables are met with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills to handle employees effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
  • Previous experience in handling teams and providing operational support.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific compliance requirements.
