We are seeking a Co-Founder with a strong background in product management and deep experience in the travel industry to help drive Gumo’s vision forward. If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for building innovative products and scaling them to global success, this is your opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious team.
Responsibilities
As a Co-Founder at Gumo, you will:
Product Leadership- Define and own Gumo’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with our mission and growth objectives.
- Lead the development of AI-powered travel discovery and booking features, delivering a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring features meet user needs and market demands.
- Leverage your experience and network in the travel industry to identify new opportunities and enhance partnerships with OTAs, DMCs, and other stakeholders.
- Understand travel consumer behavior to deliver highly personalized and relevant product offerings.
- Work closely with the tech team to drive the development of innovative AI tools that personalize travel planning and booking.
- Partner with marketing and community teams to develop features that resonate with influencers and users, driving engagement and loyalty.
- Build and mentor a product-focused team to scale operations efficiently as we grow.
- Stay ahead of travel trends, competitive landscape, and market insights to refine our platform and services.
- Drive experimentation to optimize conversion rates and increase user retention.
- Support fundraising efforts by articulating Gumo’s product vision and growth strategy to investors.
- Help scale Gumo to become a leading player in the travel tech space, driving innovation and building a robust ecosystem of users, creators, and partners.
- 5+ years of product management experience , with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products.
- Significant experience in the travel industry , with a deep understanding of OTAs, travel content ecosystems, and consumer behavior.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to product development and decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup environment, embracing ambiguity and driving results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for travel and creating transformative user experiences.
- Experience building or managing AI-driven personalization tools.
- Understanding of social media trends and their impact on travel decisions.
- Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience is highly desirable.
- Equity ownership: Be a key stakeholder in Gumo’s success and share in the long-term rewards.
