Position name – Principal Design Engineer / General Manager - Solar Years of experience – 15+ years Industry - Renewable Energy Job Location - Delhi Client - Leading Renewable Energy Company Responsibilities: We are currently seeking a dynamic Principal Design Engineer / General Manager for a full-time on-site position in Delhi.
The Principal Design Engineer will serve as a cornerstone of operations, responsible for leading a team of engineers and managing a multitude of critical tasks.
These include conceptualizing and crafting solar power systems, expertly managing computer-aided design (CAD) models, leading engineers and working with stakeholders to ensure flawless project execution, and conducting meticulous quality assessments on finished products.
● Lead and manage a team of design engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
● Conceptualize, design, and develop solar power systems that meet client specifications and industry standards.
● Oversee the creation and management of detailed CAD models for solar power systems.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, site engineers, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
● Conduct rigorous quality assessments and audits on completed designs to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
● Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar technology and integrate best practices into the design process.
Desired Profile ● Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Skills: Demonstrated expertise in design engineering and mechanical engineering principles.
● Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Proficient in utilizing CAD tools for accurate system modeling and design.
● A solid background in electrical engineering, encompassing AC and DC systems, is essential.
● Product Design Experience: A proven track record in product design, particularly in the context of solar power systems.
● Technical Knowledge - AC and DC Side: Proficiency in AC and DC electrical systems, including knowledge of inverters, transformers, and other related components.
● Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams ● Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
