In Common is hiring on behalf of a Canada-based technology solutions company. Overview We are looking for a Fabric Architect to design and scale next-generation analytics platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem. This is a remote role where you'll define architecture, guide implementation, and enable data teams to deliver insights faster and with enterprise-grade governance. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric. Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake. Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive ingestion-to-insight workflows. Establish CI/CD and Ia C practices with Azure Dev Ops, ARM, or Terraform. Ensure governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric workloads. Stay ahead of new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members. Experience & Qualifications 8–12 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics. 2–3 years hands-on with Microsoft Fabric. Strong in SQL, Python, or Py Spark. Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services. Familiarity with Ia C tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices. Nice to have: Power BI, Azure Databricks, or ML/AI exposure. Skills & Attributes Strong understanding of Lakehouse and unified analytics design. Ability to build both batch and real-time pipelines. Effective communicator and collaborator. Adaptive and proactive in fast-evolving tech landscapes.
