Through its API integrations powering resident engagement, Amenify is available in 15 million homes in the USA.We encourage high-performers from all backgrounds to reach out, provided they share our core values listed here: Summary:Amenify is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join our core Engineering team and have a deep impact on the design, development and maintenance of our backend services and internal systems. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead backend engineer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products.Responsibilities & dutiesWriting clean, high-quality, high-performant, maintainable code.Develop and support software including micro services, offline jobs, database integration, external integrations, and new functionality enhancements.Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the projects meet business objectives and timelines.Experience with Django (Python), Graphql, Postgres and GCP.Support timely testing and deployment of new products and features.Participate in code reviews, on-call and mentoring junior Engineers.Qualifications & skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), Master's preferred.5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven record of designing and implementing systems at scaleExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process across multiple time zones.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an owner's mentality.Our Tech StackDjango (Python), Graphql, React, Expo, Postgres, GCP
