AWS Quicksight Engineer

About Position: We are seeking an experienced AWS QuickSight Engineer to join our team and drive the development and optimization of our cloud-based business intelligence (BI) reporting platform. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining visually compelling dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on creating scalable data visualizations and integrating AWS-native services to surface insights at scale. Role: AWS Quicksight Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 3 to 6 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using AWS QuickSight Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective visual solutions Integrate QuickSight with AWS services like Athena, Redshift, RDS, S3, and Glue for real-time and batch data reporting Optimize SPICE datasets for performance and cost-efficiency Implement row-level security (RLS) and dataset-level access control to ensure secure data sharing Monitor QuickSight usage, performance, and costs, and suggest improvements Automate dashboard/report generation and refresh cycles via CI/CD pipelines and CloudFormation/CDK Stay updated with the latest AWS analytics capabilities and incorporate them into our BI strategy Expertise You'll Bring: 3+ years of hands-on experience building dashboards and reports with AWS QuickSight Strong understanding of data visualization best practices Proficiency in SQL, with experience querying large datasets via Athena, Redshift, or RDS Experience in Amazon SPICE, QuickSight APIs, and embedding dashboards in applications (if needed) Familiarity with AWS data services: Glue, Lambda, S3, Lake Formation, Redshift, Athena Working knowledge of IAM, security policies, and cost controls related to analytics services Experience working with BI stakeholders across product, marketing, and finance Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with embedding QuickSight dashboards in external web applications Familiarity with data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, and classification Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or AWS CDK) for QuickSight resource management Certification in AWS Analytics or AWS Data Analytics Specialty is a plus Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards Annual health check-ups Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment: Persistent Ltd. is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
