The primary responsibilities are as follows:- Develop & implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure timely procurement- Identify, evaluate & manage suppliers & subcontractors based on quality & delivery- Collaborate with production, design and quality team to align material requirement- Monitor inventory levels & develop a system to maintain optimum stock- Vendor development- Cost saving approach with quality consciousnessQualifications- BE-Mechanical- In-depth knowledge of forging materials, grades and specifications- Excellent negotiation- Leadership & team management- Vendor management skills
