Shift supervisor- Production. Solberry Energy Pvt. a subsidiary of Insolare Energy Ltd., is rapidly expanding its solar manufacturing footprint. With 75 MW capacity to 900 MW current annual capacity, an 800 MW Topcon line under commissioning, and a planned 1.7 GW installed capacity by 2026, we are building a world-class, high-efficiency solar module facility.

The Shift Supervisor – Production will be responsible for managing end-to-end production operations during the assigned shift. This includes achieving production targets, maintaining quality, ensuring safety and SOP compliance, troubleshooting equipment/process issues, and controlling manpower. The role requires hands-on experience in solar module manufacturing and strong shift leadership skills.

Production & Process Control
Supervise module line operations: glass loading, stringing, layup, lamination, framing, junction box attachment, EL/IV/Hi-Pot testing, and packing.
Ensure daily throughput and cycle time adherence to meet shift targets.
Lead first-level troubleshooting of equipment issues (mechanical/electrical/process).
Address process deviations immediately to avoid quality loss.

Quality & SOP Adherence
Enforce compliance with process SOPs, work instructions, and quality checks.
Ensure shift-wise adherence to visual inspection, EL, IV, and Hi-Pot testing protocols.
Report and act on safety incidents or near misses during shift.

Lead a team of operators and technicians during the shift.
Plan and allocate manpower across different production stages.
Conduct shift briefings, ensure smooth handovers, and maintain discipline.
Maintain shift production logs, downtime reports, scrap/rejection data, and manpower utilization records.
Present shift performance data to Operations Head in reviews.
Track and improve shift-level KPIs: OEE, yield, scrap %, manpower productivity, safety compliance.

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering.
~5–8 years of experience in solar module manufacturing (mandatory).
~ Hands-on experience in module production lines & troubleshooting.
~ Strong background in shift leadership and manpower control.

Solar module manufacturing (stringers, laminators, testers, framing).
Troubleshooting (process, mechanical, and electrical first-level).
Shift manpower control & discipline.
SOP enforcement & quality compliance.
