Principal Software Engineer -  Python - backend, python scripting, + Frontend (React) + AWS LAMBDA +Dynamo DB

The Principal software engineer at this level has to provide technical leadership to a group of highly skilled developers. The developer team has to build AWS Lambda functions / Python scripting, and work with Dynamo DB . It also involves data migration activity from Oracle Database to NoSQL DB/ Dynamo DB, and front end development with ReactJs .
The individual has the skills to analyse the technical design, build coding standards and standard practices and know how to work with CI/CD pipelines, working with DevSecOps approaches, and using version control workflows (Git/GitHub) to ensure robust, production-ready delivery. In this role, You will build cloud-first architectures using AWS.

A deep understanding of core Python — including built-in libraries and commonly used third-party packages — together with a solid grasp of data structures and common data transformation techniques is essential.

Minimum 6 years’ Python software development experience in an enterprise environment with strong experience with Amazon Web Services (particularly Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB) and serverless/cloud-first architecture
Experience as a Lead developer in a senior role will be preferred.
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database platforms and proficiency with Python core libraries and widely used third-party packages
Understanding of data structures and data transformation methodologies
Develop and maintain backend services, microservices, and APIs using Python.
Design and implement cloud-native applications on AWS , ensuring scalability and high availability.
Work with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
Write unit, integration, and performance tests for backend components.
Build and optimize data processing pipelines (e.g., using Python, Glue, or Step Functions).
Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., using Terraform or AWS CDK).
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
