Texas Instruments is looking for experienced Test engineers, who carry strong technical skills and the ability to identify innovative solutions for Analog ultra-high voltage and ultra-high precision device testing on Eagle testers.They should be familiar with ATE testing, HW designing and layout, and data analysis. The ideal candidate would have a background that includes probe and final test development of complex high voltage and precision circuits.Responsibilities include:Work with design team to understand design specificationsGenerate test plan, create test and char program, design ATE hardware interface boardsDebug characterizing silicon on ATE, and correlate results with bench dataAnalyze silicon results, supporting failure analysis tasksPerform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test timeWork with production team to release products to volume productionTest strategy definition and implementation for high voltage and high precision devices.Silicon qualification including qual hardware developmentComprehensive device debugging, design validation, and failure analysisDrive for robust and cost-effective test solutions while being accountable for product qualityMinimum requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics EngineeringATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT), although Eagle experience is preferred and is a differentiatorCharacterization test program and hardware development experience, Production test program and hardware development experienceStrong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniquesData analysis skills using Spotfire, DataPower or an equivalent tool based on STDFExperienced with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, source meters, loads, etc.Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test time reductionStrong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume productionPreferred qualifications:Strong Analog foundation skills with an innate focus on quality work.4-5 Years ExperienceMixed signal test techniques and experience with developing mixed-signal tests on TI roadmap testersExperienced with a test program and hardware offload to TI offshore manufacturing sitesProficiency in programming/scripting in C++, PythonRevision control tools experience: Subversion, GitDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentAbility to take the initiative and drive for results
