SAP Test Architect

Open position: SAP Test Lead / SAP Test Architect Job location: Hyderbad/ Bengaluru / Pune (WFO - Hybrid) Work experiance : 10+ years Hands on in Design end to end test plans across SAP modules with a clear focus on coming up design and a structured testing approach and strategy implemention. SAP modules/functionality and integration methodologies Test strategy, test design and scripts, test execution About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SAP Test Architect / SAP Test Lead to join our team in India. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be a leader in test strategy, leveraging expertise in both manual and automated testing, and possessing a strong understanding of SAP modules, integration methodologies, and industry-specific requirements within the Medical, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities: • Build Test Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive test strategy for all SAP projects, including new implementations, enhancements, and support activities. Define the scope, objectives, risks, and approach for different testing phases (e.g., unit, integration, user acceptance, performance testing). Experience in Computer System Validation mandatory requirements for life sciences industry. • Test Design and Scripts: Lead the design of test cases, scenarios, and scripts. This includes creating detailed test plans, and ensuring traceability of test cases to business requirements. Guide the team in writing high-quality, reusable, and effective test scripts. • Execute Test Cycles: Oversee and manage the execution of various test cycles. This includes coordinating with business users for UAT, managing defect tracking and resolution, and providing status reports on testing progress and quality metrics. • Customer Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and functional teams to understand project requirements and business processes. Facilitate workshops and meetings to define testing requirements and get sign-off on test plans and results. • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in SAP testing tools and methodologies. Drive the adoption of innovative solutions, such as AI/ML-driven testing, to improve testing efficiency, reduce cycles, and enhance overall quality. • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the long-term quality assurance roadmap for the SAP landscape. Provide expert guidance on testing tools, environments, and processes to build a robust and scalable testing framework. • Impeccable Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test reports, and defect logs. Ensure all documentation is accurate, detailed, and easily accessible. • Technical Expertise: o Automated Testing Tools: Possess deep experience with SAP test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Test Suite. o Load Testing: Design and execute load, stress, and performance tests using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or other relevant solutions to ensure system stability and performance under peak loads. o Integration Methodologies: Understand and apply testing strategies for complex SAP integrations, covering scenarios with SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), and third-party systems. • Industry Expertise: Apply a thorough understanding of quality assurance needs and regulatory requirements specific to the Medical, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing industries to design compliant and effective test solutions. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP testing , with at least 5+ years in a Test Architect or similar leadership position. • Extensive experience in building and executing comprehensive test strategies for large-scale SAP projects (e.g., S/4HANA implementations). • Proven hands-on experience with at least one major SAP test automation too l (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify). • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing performance/load testing for SAP systems. • Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes within the Medical, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing industries. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. • SAP certifications in quality management or testing are a plus.
