RESPONSIBILITIES Tax Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to adapt the company's tax strategy accordingly. Data Collection and Analysis Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all direct tax returns, including income tax returns, advance tax computations, and other statutory filings. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance Data Management Tax Audits and Assessments: Manage tax audits and assessments by tax authorities, including responding to queries, providing necessary documentation, and representing the company during tax proceedings. Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to resolve tax issues efficiently. Insights and Reporting Tax Controversy Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential tax risks and controversies. Develop and implement strategies to address tax disputes and litigation, if any, in collaboration with legal counsel and relevant stakeholders.


Document Preparation Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports. Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols Tax Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze tax provisions, tax forecasts, and tax-related financial statements. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on tax analysis and reporting Recommendations Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business teams, to ensure tax considerations are adequately addressed in business decisions, transactions, and contracts. Provide tax support and guidance to business units as needed. Financial Management and Control External Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, auditors, consultants, and advisors. Stay updated on industry best practices and benchmark the company's tax practices against peers. Personal Capability Building Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
