POSITION DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Delivery ManagerDEPARTMENT: Research & DevelopmentREPORTS TO: Vice President, R&DPRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF JOBDelivery Manager is responsible for serving as the strategic interface with assigned business units for the purpose of business/IT strategy planning, development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.• Provides leadership, organizational structure and resource management for multiple Engineering teams.• Provide technical leadership and innovation across all aspects of technology development.• Provide support and mentoring to technical team leads, including talent and succession planning.• Lead and manage technical delivery resources.• Establishes and organizes application development plans aligned with the goals / strategies of the business staffed with appropriately skilled technical resources.• Plans work for subordinates, monitors performance, and conducts performance appraisals. Interviews and makes recommendations for additional staff. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.• Ensure project deliverables are accomplished on time and within budget.• Communicates technical and operational issues to engineering and audit leadership in a timely manner.• Ensure that technology solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with architectural principles, standards and roadmaps.• Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems.• Support business required technology freeze periods.• Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system / technical requirements.• Communication between business, client, staff and engineering teams.• Manages staff, teams, and matrix resources to meet service delivery SLAs• Planning and management of projects supporting Enterprise areas.• Solution enhancements improving performance / availability• Facilitating discussions and consensus among various stakeholders• Maintenance and management of business relationships with clients and business partner organizations.• Corporate application availability and delivery meets or exceeds negotiated SLA’s and business/client objectives.• Contributes to the productivity of the organization through on-time completion of projects associated with meeting departmental objectives.• Positive trending for customer satisfaction results.• Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.• Delivery Management objectives in Onshore & Offshore Model for multiple clients across the globe• Gather and report detailed performance data against key indicators, to generate actionable improvements to the quality of service offered.KEY CONSTITUENTS• Product Owner• Agile Manager• Business Analyst• Delivery Team• Technical working groupATTRIBUTES AND BEHAVIOR• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others• Shares ideas and information• Assists colleagues unprompted• Takes pride in the achievement of team objectives• Has credibility with peers and senior managers• Self-motivated – driven to achieve results• Works with a sense of urgency• High customer service ethic – is passionate about meeting customer expectations and improving service levels• Keeps pace with change – acquires knowledge/skills as the business evolves• Handles confidential information with sensitivity• Exhibits behaviors consistent with Cotiviti Valueso Customer Driveno Accountabilityo Openo CollaborativeRELEVANT EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS• Masters or bachelor’s in engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Systems.• 15+ years of experience in IT development with minimum 5+ years of experience in application design activities. • Min 5+ years of experience in implementing projects leveraging Java, Microservices and cloud implementations i.e. AWS / Azure services.• Good technical experience in Java, Angular, DevOps and open-source projects.• Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture.• Should be able to work with Architects & TLs and provide inputs and guidance on best practices and architecture.• Exposure to Agile / TDD / BDD based development• Organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with minimal direction• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose changes to fix them.• Organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with minimal direction• Ability to work on multiple projects and Initiatives in parallel.• Need to identify skillset gap and necessary Trainings for Teams• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose changes to fix them.• Lead the projects from inception till production rollout and support as wellSKILLS & COMPETENCIES• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong organizational skills and adaptive capacity for rapidly changing priorities and workloads• Ability to work well independently and maintain focus in a highly dynamic work environment.• Comfort in working with team members that are remote and located in the US, India or other geographies• Ability to work within a matrix organizationDISCLAIMERThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required.
