Job Description Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & General Ledger Management: Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile accounts monthly, identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal use. Assist in compiling reports for management, highlighting financial performance and trends. Maintain and update financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and tracking financial performance. Provide input and support in preparing cost analyses, profitability studies, and financial projections. Collaborate with team members to gather relevant data and support budgeting processes. Tax Compliance & Filing: Prepared and filed client tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws. Keep up-to-date with changing tax regulations and communicate potential impacts to clients. Assist with preparing tax documentation and liaise with tax authorities as required. Client Account Management & Support: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to inquiries and providing financial insights. Support clients in setting up accounting systems, if needed, and provide basic training on financial best practices. Education/Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Tally, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Preferred Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data clearly.
