Job Title: Blue Yonder Promotion Management Specialist

Role Overview:
As a Promotion Management Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of promotional campaigns across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Promotion Planning & Execution:
Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop, plan, and execute promotional strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
Collaborate with clients to understand their promotional goals, product offerings, and target audience.
Assist in setting objectives, timelines, and performance metrics for promotional activities.
Data Analysis & Optimization:
Use advanced analytics tools to analyze past promotion data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize future promotional strategies.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track the effectiveness of ongoing promotions.
Recommend strategies for promotional optimization, including pricing strategies, markdowns, and discounting.
Promotion Forecasting:
Develop accurate promotional forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer behavior.
Identify potential risks and opportunities related to upcoming promotions and provide mitigation strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with supply chain, sales, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of promotional activities with broader business goals.
Coordinate with IT teams for integration and troubleshooting of promotional systems or tools.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to ongoing process improvements by identifying gaps and inefficiencies in current promotional workflows and recommending solutions.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in promotion management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3-7 years of experience in promotion management, pricing, or similar roles within the retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries.
Proven track record of executing and optimizing successful promotional campaigns.
Experience with Blue Yonder solutions.
Skills & Expertise:
Strong analytical skills with experience in using data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Solid understanding of promotional strategies, pricing models, and discounting.
Familiarity with AI-driven solutions and their application to promotion management is a plus.
Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
