Freelance Remote Opportunity: Tech Lead – Gen AI Code InitiativesWe’re seeking an experiencedTech Lead / Senior Software Engineerto spearhead ourGen AI Code Initiatives. This is ahands-on, freelancing remote rolefocused on evaluating, improving, and advancing AI-driven code generation systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCode Generation & Refinement:Write, evaluate, and refine complex code solutions. This is a hands-on technical role, not purely managerial.Code Validation:Design and implement advanced frameworks to rate and test model-generated code, including automated test suites and benchmarking systems.Code Quality & Efficiency:Analyze and enhance both human-written and model-generated code for performance, correctness, and maintainability.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with research, engineering, and product teams to integrate evaluation insights and drive model improvements.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience:7–10+ years of proven experience in building and deploying complex software solutions.Languages (Priority):Strong proficiency inPython, Java, C, C++, or Java Script— especially for evaluating and refining model-generated code.Code Evaluation Expertise:Skilled in developing test harnesses, assessing code for correctness, efficiency, and security, and defining measurable code quality metrics.Gen AI Familiarity (Preferred):Understanding of LLMs, code generation, and model evaluation/fine-tuning workflows.Preferred SkillsPriority Languages:Python, Java, C, C++, Java ScriptDomain Expertise:STEM fields, data analysis/science, or data visualizationTechnical Stack:Web visualization platforms, SQL/databases, JSON, HTML, Markdown, and modern data libraries.Seniority:Tech Lead level — suited for candidates who thrive on solving complex technical challenges in smaller, high-impact datasets.Why This Role MattersAs a Tech Lead for Gen AI Code Initiatives, you will:Accelerate Development:Streamline validation and refinement of AI code models.Ensure Quality:Guarantee production-grade, secure, and efficient model outputs.Drive Innovation:Lead groundbreaking advancements in Gen AI code generation.Role Type:Freelance / RemoteEngagement:Part-time or full-time contractExperience Level:Tech Lead / Senior Software EngineerIf you’re passionate aboutbuilding the future of AI-assisted coding , we’d love to hear from you.Apply nowwith your CV, hourly rate, and availability.
