About Team The Import Synchronization Tool (IST) provides real-time visibility of Direct Import flows from the Suppliers to Consolidation Centers. It is a planning and visibility product that provides granular, daily, real-time visibility of Direct Import flows from the Supplier, Foreign Port, US Port until ​the In-land FSCs and helps synchronize the demand and supply flow for the replenishment managers and sourcing managers by giving them the visibility to inventory projections at the consolidation centers for Direct and Domestic imports leading to incremental savings. Your Opportunity The role is of a Senior Manager who is motivated to build and lead one or more high performing scrum teams and also contribute to the architecture and design of new products or features. The role demands to lead, motivate, mentor and provide ample guidance to team members with respect to product capabilities and technical challenges. The role is also expected to make a difference to the product in terms of innovation, platform mindset, best designs and contribute towards identifying technical risks and find alternate solutions to problems. Your Responsibility Manage a high performing team of 10-12 engineers and own the accountability of complete E2 E delivery Drive design, development, implementation and documentation Excellent stakeholder and program management skills Establish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering and scrum metrics Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community. Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products. Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within the established architectural guidelines. Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the products Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams. Participating in organizational events like hackathon’s/demo days etc... Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe. Mentoring and coaching team and help them grow. What you'll bring: 10+ years experience in building products and managing high performing teams Have led a team of 10-12 engineers and owned accountability of E2 E delivery Excellent stakeholder and program management Extensive experience building services using technologies like Java, Springboot, React JS/Angular Js Advocacy for engineering and operational excellence. Proficient in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFRs) Strong experience in running cloud distributed system in production at least for 2-3 years Experience in creating high performing, highly scalable and distributed middle-tier services, preferably using event-driven architecture in Cloud like Azure or GCP Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Experience on large-scale end-to-end Learning implementations In depth knowledge on Restful/SOAP web services Knowledge on unit testing frameworks (Junit/Spock/Jest etc) and code quality control platforms like Sonar Experience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops Working knowledge of SQL and No SQL database technologies Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions. Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Willing to learn new and emerging technologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.
