What we are looking for
Role: Data Network Admin
Experience Range: 10 – 12 Years
Location: Mumbai/Chennai
Must Have:
- Supplier shall perform all activities needed to ensure that Network connections and their configuration are properly tracked for network devices at SMFG
- As part of Network tracking services, Supplier shall:
- Ensure that updated Configuration Item information is always available to Customer in the Configuration Management database (CMDB) and EA Tool.
- Hardware asset discovery, tracking and reporting (including firmware versions-N-1 and configuration details),
- Network topology and routing tables,
- All Network configuration tracking.
- Track points of traffic congestion, latency, bottle necks, jitters etc.
- Hands on knowledge for ACI and leaf / spine architecture.
- Candidates should have good hands-on knowledge of routing protocols, BGP, EIGRP and OSPF.
- Candidate should have good knowledge of switching protocols. (VLAN, Port channel, VTP / STP and SNMP)
- Candidates should have hands-on knowledge with SolarWinds.
- Candidate should have hands on knowledge with Meraki Dashboard and Meraki switches.
Good to Have:
Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners
- Support multi-vendor Network appliances
- Maintain and update the operational documentation.
- Document any Customer-approved exceptions to Network standards and reference Architecture,
- Install, test, and certify operating system service packs, hot fixes, patches and/or Upgrades,
- Essential:
- Perform all performance tuning for Network devices,
- Manage and perform configuration planning for Network devices.
Minimum Qualification:
•15 years of full-time education
•Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
