Job Title: Senior Data Analyst - Operations (Saa S)Job Summary: As the Senior Data Analyst - Operations in a Saa S environment, you will harness data to enhance operational efficiency, support strategic decisions, and drive overall business success. Working with cross-functional teams—including product, marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and engineering—you’ll deliver actionable insights to support data-driven operational goals aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate will bring experience in Saa S operations, advanced analytics skills, and a proven ability to leverage data for process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and manage data from sources like CRM, customer usage, and billing systems. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across departments. Collaborate with IT and data engineering to optimize data pipelines and storage. Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze data to identify operational inefficiencies, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Offer data-driven recommendations for Saa S operations and product efficiency. Perform root cause analysis on operational bottlenecks to enhance performance. KPI Tracking & Reporting: Define and monitor KPIs, such as NPS, resolution times, system uptime, and renewal rates. Report KPIs to senior leadership, translating data into actionable insights. Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Process Improvement: Work with teams to identify and address process inefficiencies in the Saa S customer lifecycle. Use data to optimize customer success efforts and reduce churn. Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: Build models to forecast trends like churn, revenue growth, and support demand. Deliver insights for resource planning and optimize decision-making. Automation & Integration: Identify automation opportunities in operational workflows. Integrate data from Saa S tools (e. G., Salesforce, Gainsight, Zendesk) into analytics platforms. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with teams across the organization to align data initiatives with business goals. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field; Master’s preferred. Experience: 10+ years in data analysis, with at least 4+ years in Saa S or tech environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with tools like Python, R, and Excel. Expertise in data visualization (Tableau, Looker, Power BI). Familiarity with Saa S metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn) and tools like Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zendesk. Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling. Preferred: Experience in Saa S or tech companies, Google Data Analytics certification, or Lean/Six Sigma experience. Key Attributes: Analytical, collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving data-driven improvements with strong organizational and communication skills.
