Location: REMOTE
Must Have:
BI Solution Development:
- Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions, utilizing the full Microsoft BI Stack.
- Develop and implement BI solutions with a focus on data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Azure Integration:
- Leverage Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration of ETL processes.
- Implement and manage data pipelines in Azure to support BI initiatives, integrating No SQL data sources.
ETL Processes with SSIS:
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Ensure the integration of data from diverse sources into the BI ecosystem.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring they meet end-user needs.
- Create visually appealing and insightful reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
SSAS and SSRS Expertise:
- Utilize SSAS for multidimensional and tabular data modeling.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports for operational and business reporting needs.
Performance Tuning and Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Implement best practices for indexing, partitioning, and query optimization, including No SQL-specific optimizations.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements.
- Document BI solutions, data models, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Nice to Have:
No SQL Database Expertise:
- Design, implement, and optimize high-performance No SQL databases, particularly Cosmos DB.
- Ensure seamless integration of No SQL data into the BI ecosystem.
Data Modeling:
- Design and maintain data models to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Implement best practices in data modeling for scalability and flexibility, including No SQL data modeling.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, with expertise in the Microsoft Azure Stack.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB (or any other No SQL DB), BLOB Storage.
- Having knowledge or experience in SSAS, SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, DAX Queries, DWH is added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team..
