Position : Business Analyst – Business Capability Mapping
Purpose:
The incumbent should possess expertise in business capability mapping to support strategic decision-making and process optimization. The role will focus on visually mapping organizational capabilities, identifying gaps, and aligning business functions with strategic objectives. Additionally, the role will involve leveraging Automation, Cloud, Data, and AI within a Center of Excellence (COE) framework and contributing to internal IT BA capability development through training and mentorship.

Total Experience : 7 + Years / 6 Years Relevant
Relevant Experience Required :

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong expertise in business capability
mapping.

• Familiarity with automation, cloud technologies, data analytics', and AI-driven solutions

• Experience in Agile, SAFe, or other iterative methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of business process modeling, enterprise architecture frameworks, and strategic analysis

• Experience with business transformation projects and aligning IT capabilities with business objectives.
Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Agile, SAFe, or other iterative methodologies.
Experience with business mapping tools (e.g., ARIS, Sparx EA, Bizagi, Lean IX, etc.).

• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

• Knowledge of RPA tools (Ui Path, Power Automate), Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), and Data Analytics tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a datadriven approach to decision-making.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Role & Responsibility:
Business Capability Mapping & Analysis:

• Develop and maintain business capability maps to represent organizational functions and their strategic impact.

• Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies within current capabilities and recommend improvements.

• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to align business needs with technology capabilities.

• Analyze the impact of business transformations on existing IT and operational capabilities.
Strategic Alignment & Process Optimization:

• Ensure alignment of business and IT strategy through capability-driven analysis.

• Provide insights for resource allocation by assessing the organization's structural and operational needs.

• Support the implementation of new business capabilities by mapping dependencies and required enhancements
COE Contributions (Automation, Cloud, Data, AI):

•Collaborate with the COE teams to integrate automation, cloud, data, and AI solutions into business processes.

• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using modern technologies.

• Assist in defining best practices for leveraging AI-driven analytics in capability mapping.

• Training & IT BA Capability Maturity: Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance internal IT Busi-ness Analysis competencies.

• Mentor junior BAs on business capability mapping, strategic analysis, and best practices. · Contribute to refining and maturing the organization's Business Analysis frame-work.
