We are looking for a Freelance Lead AV Installation Engineer with Control4 / Lutron experience looking for Field Support role in a cutting-edge SMART-Home Automation.
This role is for an part-time Freelance engineer/ Designer who enjoys working independently designing, programming, solving complex technical problems, and delivering excellent customer service.
The Ideal Candidate: • Strong understanding of Audio Visual systems and IT networking.
• Minimum around 4 years of experience with Control4, Crestron, Lutron or similar systems is essential.
• Comfortable with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues independently.
• Motivated by career progression and continuous learning.
• Enjoys working in a client-facing role, providing high-quality service and technical support.
The Role Includes: • Designing the Home automation, Lighting, AV systems and home networking • Providing both proactive and reactive support for AV and smart home systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network and system issues.
• Performing maintenance, system updates, and component replacements where necessary.
• Working independently in the field to service high-end residential properties across London.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless project completion.
• Proficiency as Field Support Engineer, AV Engineer, Control4, Crestron, Smart Home Automation, Networking, Audio Visual Technician, IT Systems, Field Service and AV Support
