The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and data engineering/data science workflows.Key Responsibilities- Deliver virtual training programs on Databricks, Spark, and related technologies.- Customise course content to suit client-specific needs and industry use cases.- Conduct workshops, hands-on labs, and Q&A sessions.- Support learners in building foundational and advanced data engineering and data science knowledge using Databricks.- Stay updated with the latest Databricks releases, features, and best practices.- Provide feedback to the curriculum development team to enhance course content.- Support pre-sales efforts by conducting demo sessions or webinars when required.Required Qualifications- Proven experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator in data analytics, engineering, or cloud technologies.- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Py Spark.- Strong knowledge of data engineering, SQL, Python, and big data tools.- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Experience in delivering technical training to adult learners or corporate clients.Preferred Qualifications- Databricks or Spark certification (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate).- Experience in teaching or mentoring in a technical environment.- Ability to create training materials and lab exercises.NIIT is an equal opportunity employer.
