We have over 20+ offices globally with 4500 employees (and growing).To learn more about us and our journey, check out our careers site.What would you accomplish as an Azure Cloud Architect ?We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Azure Architect to serve as a pivotal member of our new Platform Engineering team. This role is crucial for designing, validating, and ensuring the successful implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions primarily within the Azure ecosystem, tailored specifically for our financial services operations.The successful candidate will act as the technical design authority, bridging the gap between high-level architectural standards, operational realities, and stringent security and compliance requirements. This role demands strong technical depth in Azure and a proven ability to align technology strategy with business objectives in a regulated environment.The responsibilities will include:- Design enterprise-level, well-architected cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, covering core financial services applications, data platforms, and infrastructure services.- Work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholders, including - Operations Team, Enterprise Architecture Team, Security & Compliance Teams and Technical Leadership.- Drive strategies for continuous cost optimization, performance tuning, and resource efficiency within the Azure footprint.- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including technical blueprints, decision logs, and validation matrices.- Stay updated with the latest .NET technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve support processes and capabilities.- Performing POCs on technology and customer use cases scenarios.What we are looking for:- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or a closely related field is mandatory.- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, software development, or cloud architecture roles.- Minimum 5 years dedicated experience designing and deploying production environments on Microsoft Azure.- Proven experience working in Finance (FinTech, Banking, Insurance) or other highly regulated industries, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements.- Expert knowledge in core Azure services including Azure Networking (VNets, ExpressRoute, Firewalls), Azure Compute (VMs, AKS, App Services), Azure Storage, Azure Identity (Azure AD/Entra ID), and Governance tools.- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform or Azure Bicep.- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and securing PaaS/SaaS solutions.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.- Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), and related service mesh concepts.- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.- Familiarity with modern Azure data services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB) and data governance standards.- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OpenStack, OpenShift) is a plus.- Experience designing and validating robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies for critical financial systems.What we offer:- We are mission led - work at the heart of a purpose-led organization, where you can be proud of the impact you make, every day.
