Job OverviewThe Animator I will join our team-oriented group of people in the Interactive Game Development Department. The ideal candidate will work with a group of Artists, Engineers, and Game Designers to create both online first content and port AGS’ proven land content to online.ResponsibilitiesCreate graphic compositions/layouts, motion graphic animations, marketing content, menus, UI and button templatesBrainstorm and conceptualize ideas (including producing quick concepts/storyboards)Design and create overall look and feel for projectsHighly proficient in Illustrator CC and Photoshop CCStrong Adobe After Effects skills, ideally with demonstrable experience in motion graphicsCollaborate with the design team to come up with unique and engaging creative experiencesActively participate and offer creative solutions to both art and game design challengesTrain and communicate with team members on the latest art skills and techniquesWork with front end engineers to optimize animations for performanceCreate engaging and high-quality videos and GIFs to promote gamesSkills/RequirementsPortfolio required1-2 years Professional Casino Industry or Comparable Industry Animation Experience.Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Art/Animation or equivalent experience.Strong Adobe After Effects skills, ideally with demonstrable experience in motion graphicsAbility to give and take constructive feedbackExperience in Object Oriented DesignAfter Effects and PremierPhotoshop, Illustrator3 D animation in Maya/AutodeskSpine experience a plusProficient in video editing, video enhancement, and assembling footageNote: All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check*Posted positions are not open to third party recruiters and unsolicited resume submissions will be considered free referrals.AGS is an equal opportunity employer.
