About Us Volopay is a Y Combinator-backed fintech startup that unifies corporate cards, bill payments, approvals, reimbursements, and accounting automation into a single intelligent platform. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js to build high-performing, intuitive, and scalable web applications. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to craft seamless, pixel-perfect user experiences that power Volopay’s global fintech platform. Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React.js. Translate complex UI/UX designs and product requirements into clean, reusable, and efficient code. Optimize performance, responsiveness, and scalability across browsers and devices. Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, product, and design teams for smooth integration and delivery. Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and best practices. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and usability issues. Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and suggest practical adoption. 2–5 years of experience in frontend development with a strong command of React.js. ~ Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. ~ Solid grasp of frontend architecture, state management, and component lifecycle in React. ~ Familiarity with REST APIs, frontend build tools, and Git. ~ Strong attention to detail, debugging, and performance optimization skills. ~ Good understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards. ~ React Native experience is a plus. Bonus Points Prior experience in a SaaS or product-based startup. Fast-paced startup culture with strong growth opportunities.
