Job Overview: We seek a highly motivated and experienced Email Marketing Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. With at least 2 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that engage and convert our target audience. Additionally, you should be proficient in data extraction techniques to build targeted email lists using the latest tools available (including Google and other online platforms). The ideal candidate will understand email marketing platforms, segmentation strategies, analytics, and best practices to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities: Campaign Management:
Develop, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
Create email content (design, copy, and subject lines) that resonates with the target audience, adheres to brand guidelines, and drives conversions.
Segment email lists effectively based on customer demographics, behavior, and engagement levels.
Schedule and automate emails using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar).
Data Extraction & List Building:
Use the latest tools and techniques to extract high-quality email leads from Google, social media platforms, directories, and other online sources.
Employ tools such as web scraping, lead generation software, and CRM integrations to gather and validate email data.
Build targeted email lists that are clean, accurate, and segmented by relevant criteria such as demographics, interests, and behaviors.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other privacy laws while extracting and using email data.
Optimization & Testing:
Conduct A/B tests to optimize subject lines, content, design, and CTAs for better performance.
Analyze campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and ROI, and implement data-driven improvements.
Monitor deliverability rates and ensure campaigns adhere to email best practices to avoid spam filters and improve inbox placement.
Analytics & Reporting:
Provide detailed reports on email campaign performance, tracking key metrics and suggesting actionable insights.
Use data to segment and personalize email communications, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
Track customer lifecycle and engagement, and implement strategies for re-engagement and retention.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the content, design, and product teams to ensure email campaigns are aligned with the brand and marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns for new product launches, promotions, and events.
Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure email campaigns comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant privacy laws and regulations.
Stay updated on the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience:
2+ years of proven experience in email marketing, including campaign management, analytics, and optimization.
Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of email marketing metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion rate, etc.) and experience with A/B testing.
Experience with data extraction tools for building targeted email lists from online sources like Google, social media, and business directories.
Skills:
Proficiency in creating compelling email copy and designing email templates (HTML and/or visual design tools).
Familiarity with email automation tools and CRM systems.
Solid knowledge of segmentation and personalization techniques to increase engagement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Expertise in using tools like web scraping, lead generation software, or advanced search techniques for data extraction.
Knowledge of email deliverability and email list hygiene best practices.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Creative, with an eye for design and a passion for marketing.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Experience with other digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, paid ads, SEO) is a plus.
Familiarity with email deliverability and spam regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
Knowledge of advanced data extraction tools and automation (e.g., Python, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools).
