As a Consultant, you will understand customer issues, diagnose problems, design solutions and facilitate solution deployment, lead small projects by leveraging your domain and process skills in one/more of the functional skills including and not limited to Metering, SMART operations, Field Services, Customer Care, Billing, Payments, Credit & collections, self-service functions etc. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
The typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Should be able to lead requirement gathering, functional design and business process definitions
• Should be able to Work with Internal and external stakeholders to understand the service/function/product provided
• Should be able to effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Should be able to map the customer requirements into the product and suggest workarounds/solutions for the requirements
• Should be able to create the AS-IS and TO-Be Process documents and identify gaps in the product/solution
• Should have good understanding of the CIS systems and meter to cash value chain
• Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested
• The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project
Location for this position is India.
Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
• At least 5+ years of experience with listed responsibilities and skill sets
Preferred
• Understanding of utility market and technology trends
• Business Analysis skills
• Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires regular travel
• Should have excellent soft-skills and leadership skills to lead assessment workshops
• Knowledge of SQL, Mainframe or any programming language would be an advantage
• Knowledge of working with frameworks like ITIL, CMMI would be an advantage
• Exposure to US/UK/ANZ Market
• Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability
• Knowledge of creating Backlogs with Epics, Features and User Stories.
