Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and architectures using AWS services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Architect data solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Design and optimize Redshift data warehouses and data models to support advanced analytics and reporting needs.
Lead efforts to automate ETL/ELT processes, integrating various data sources into a unified data lake or data warehouse environment.
Develop and implement best practices for data engineering, including data quality, governance, and security standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to deliver data solutions that meet business requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers, ensuring best practices in data design, coding, and performance tuning.
Ensure efficient data movement between different AWS services using Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions, while leveraging orchestration and automation where appropriate.
Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and query performance within Redshift and other databases.
Implement robust data architecture frameworks, ensuring data is organized and accessible for reporting, analysis, and machine learning purposes.
