For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior SAP BO / Power BI developer with SAP Web Intelligence Tool version 4.3 and SAP Business Objects version 4.3 knowledge. We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Tasks and responsibilities: Design and develop Universes, Queries and Business Objects Reports for complex functional and technical requirements by using SAP Web Intelligence Tool version 4.3 and SAP Business Objects version 4.3; Manage Business Intelligence projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from inception through implementation, deployment, and maintenance; Prepare and complete the documentation/Technical Analysis details of existing BO reports and Universes in the project to ensure system is fully documented for future reference; Work around the challenges and setbacks that come with every project and deliver the results on time; Estimate the effort required for designing and development of Universes and Reports by using SAP We BI and SAP Business Objects; Profile: Bachelor or Master degree; +8 years of experience as a SAP Business Objects developer and experience with SAP Web Intelligence Tool; Thorough understanding and strong technical experience in using various SAP Business Objects & SAP We BI features and functions; Experience in architecting, modeling, designing, and developing the Business Objects Universes and Reports by using Information Design Tool 4.3 and SAP BO 4.3; Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence and current BI trends in the Market (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, and IBM); Strong knowledge of SQL to analyze data and asses the generated SQL from a WEBI Report; Strong understanding of managing security within the CMC; Strong report development background using WEBI and WEBI Rich Client; Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Universe concepts such as contexts, aliases, aggregate awareness and , navigation paths, filters, business layer views, performance tuning techniques and techniques to resolve traps, universe linking and integration of data; Experience with relational, dimensional, multi-dimensional and OLAP techniques & technology; Experience with interfaces such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, and SQL Developer; Proficiency in developing, troubleshooting complex SQL; Knowledge and work experience in Microsoft Power BI is plus; Fluent in English;
