You will be responsible for building and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring clean code practices, and integrating backend services efficiently in a modular monolithic architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js and Typescript/JavascriptDesign and manage SQL/NoSQL database schemas, queries, and stored proceduresImplement modular architecture for scalability and code reusabilityHandle API integration with frontend and external servicesMaintain version control using Git and GitHubWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeDebug and optimize backend performanceCollaborate with frontend developers and testers to ensure smooth integrationRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of Node.js and Express.jsGood understanding of SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and NoSQL DatabasesFamiliarity with RESTful API developmentUnderstanding of modular monolithic architectureBasic knowledge of Git / GitHub for version controlUnderstanding of environment variables, middlewares, and error handlingBasic understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, sessions)Solid understanding of OOPs conceptsKnowledge of SOLID principles for clean and maintainable codeBasic understanding of Microservices architecture and its benefitsGood to HaveExperience with Sequelize ORMKnowledge of Postman for API testingBasic understanding of Docker (optional)Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React / Vue) for integrationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsEagerness to learn and grow in backend technologiesPerks & Benefits100% Remote WorkFlexible Working HoursMentorship from senior developersExposure to real-world backend projectsTech StackBackend: Node.js, Express.jsDatabase: MySQL / PostgreSQLVersion Control: Git, GitHubArchitecture: Modular MonolithicTesting Tools: Postman, Jest (optional)
