Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Node.js Developer who will take responsibility for leading the development team and providing technical guidance on Node.js development. Experience Level: More than 6 years Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with experience. Required Skills: 5+ years of backend development experience with strong hands-on skills in Node.js and TypeScript. Experience in leading or technically owning delivery within a development team. Deep expertise in AWS, focusing on: Load Balancer (ALB/NLB) management AWS WAF setup and operations Security and scalability in cloud-native applications Production experience with MongoDB. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and complex backend integrations. Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Nice to Have: Interest in learning Go (Golang) and expanding backend technology skills. Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka). Exposure to IoT or Smart Home platforms. Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, React, or similar. Responsibilities: Lead a team of up to 5 backend developers, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Work closely with the system architect to drive platform evolution and long-term technical decisions. Actively contribute to development, architecture discussions, and code quality initiatives. Define and plan technical work in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Promote engineering excellence, including clean code, peer reviews, testing, observability, and CI/CD. Provide mentoring, support, and guidance to team members.
