The ideal candidate will be responsible for application engineering & designing of gearboxes for various industrial applications.
Responsibilities
Design the non-standard gear boxes with study of application Engineering (Based on the specifications - Understanding the product requirements / Reverse Engineering / Develop from the drawings that are available) & based on the proven designs already available with SGL. Review and approve the designs developed by the team.
Coordinate with the Marketing team and based on the proposal develop a new capability / new product which in addition to the current portfolio of SGL.
Tools & Software's: Auto CAD/ Solid Works & KISSsoft Software.
Prototype & Simulation: Assist in Prototype testing and analyze gear performance through simulations to enhance life and reliability.
Material Selection: Work with material experts to choose & procure right material for various applications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
AUTOCAD experience
Proficient in Solidworks | CREO
Locations : Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jamshedpur, Kolkatta, Coimbatore, Raipur
