We are seeking a talented Selenium Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. As a Selenium Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.
Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Selenium Automation Engineer who can write Backend API’s and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and possess expertise in using Selenium, Karate Framework, Postman, and other relevant testing tools. In addition, you should have a deep understanding of API testing, including experience with REST and SOAP calls, as well as a solid grasp of software testing methodologies, test case design, and debugging techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Java: Highly skilled in Java 17, with ample knowledge of Web Applications.
Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java (Java 17), Karate Framework, Postman, and other appropriate testing tools.
API Testing: Conduct comprehensive API testing, including REST to validate the functionality and performance of web services.
Test Case Design: Collaborate with the development and quality assurance teams to design effective and efficient test cases.
Bug Tracking: Identify and report defects using established bug tracking systems and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Test Execution: Execute test cases, analyze test results, and generate comprehensive test reports.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of the automated testing framework and processes.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test plans, and test results.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or a similar role with a strong emphasis on Java development.
Proficiency in developing automated tests using Selenium, Karate Framework, Postman, and other relevant testing tools.
In-depth knowledge of API testing, including experience with REST.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and debugging techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Relevant certifications in automation testing will be a plus.
