For more details on company, visit our website at About the role: This role is with a client who is one of the largest independent transformer manufacturing companies in the United States.

They excel in custom design covering PDU Transformers, Liquid Padmouns for Data Centers, Solar & Storage Solutions, EV Charging, Mining, High Rise Applications etc.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

They will work closely with local and global services team to assure that proposal content and related scope of supply, descriptions and schedules of delivery can be fully supported, and that estimated costs associated with the scope of work are documented in accordance with the business strategy.

They must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures.

The ability to multitask & delivers within timelines is essential.

The candidate will have excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities: • Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings • Create 3 D models and/or 2 D drawings of equipment and/or the integrated unit substation (“composites”)• Coordination of mechanical and electrical connections between various manufacturing locations • Interpret company and industry codes and standards (ANSI, UL, IEC, IEEE, UBC, etc)• Provide quotation and layout assistance and be the interface between the sales force and manufacturing facilities • Review specifications and component bill of materials and facilitate required revisions with field sales and contractor manufacturing plants • Review all customer release documents and release equipment to suppliers • Be the first point of contact for after shipment resolution • Responsible for the financials on the product and will be involved from order entry, change order management, inspection, shipment, and commissioning Coordinate with production and other support functions to resolve design questions or challenges promptly • Support the Application Engineering activities related for the transformer portfolio by understanding market trends and secure the anticipated growth impact.

• To fulfil internal company facing dimensions, activities shall include internal technical trainings and customer relationship presentations, tender strategy & negotiation recommendations.

Engage factory and tender engineering teams to develop and deploy trust, acceptance and team integration, Customer support, post order problem solving.

• Develop and implement KPI’s and targets for the Transformer portfolio to provide visibility of activity and outcomes in the dimensions listed above.

• Support and engage closely within Application Engineering teams.

Qualifications: B.

E.

/ B. Tech degree (Electrical Engineering) from an accredited university.

A Master’s degree is a plus.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical roles like transformer design, technical interaction, directly with Customers in a tender or order execution capacity.

• Proficiency with 2 D and or 3 D modeling software – Auto CAD, Creo or similar • Aptitude and ability to learn low and medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, and transformers • Mechanical aptitude for scope of work impacts the design of electrical power distribution equipment • Exposure to the sales and order execution process is a plus.

• The person in this role should have technical skills in transformers and be able to connect the technical teams to the marketing teams in the Demand countries within the industry.

• Intercultural sensitiveness is required, with colleagues and customers from multi-countries in assigned region with good communication skills in oral and written.
