Job Title: SAP ABAP RAP Consultant (Contract/Freelance)Experience Required: 3 – 8 yearsEmployment Type: Contract / Freelancing OpportunitiesLocation: Remote / FlexibleAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant to join our team on a contract/freelance basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing RAP-based solutions. This is a great opportunity for professionals who thrive in flexible, project-based engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement applications using SAP ABAP RAP framework.Build OData services using RAP and ensure seamless integration with SAP Fiori/UI5.Develop CDS views, BOPF objects, and annotations in the RAP environment.Optimize RAP applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support for RAP-related issues.Contribute to code reviews, quality assurance, and best practices adoption.Required Skills & Qualifications3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.Strong expertise in ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).Proficiency in CDS views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 integration.Good understanding of S/4 HANA ABAP programming and performance optimization.Experience in RAP transactional scenarios (create, update, delete operations).Knowledge of ABAP OO concepts and modern ABAP syntax.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a freelance/contract setup.Nice to HaveExposure to CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).Experience in SAP Cloud Platform or other SAP extensions.Understanding of agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.Engagement Type & BenefitsContract / Freelance role with flexible engagement models.Opportunity to work on challenging SAP RAP projects.Remote working with flexible timings.Competitive compensation based on experience and project scope.If you are an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant looking for exciting freelance/contract opportunities, we’d love to hear from you
