About the Job

Position: Financial Analyst / Assistant Manager

Location: Noida or Gurugram

Role Summary: As a Financial Analyst/AM, you will plan, develop, and execute financial strategies. You will work closely with the Group Finance team, located in Delhi (Gurgaon or Noida), to ensure financial models and analyses support the company's goals and meet stakeholders' needs. The role reports to the General Manager-Finance, based in Delhi. You will be responsible for all aspect of FP&A and assisting with other team tasks as needed. You will be in a small team of 4-5 people working closely together to solve problems and deliver excellence to the business and its stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a background in finance, financial analysis and an understanding of accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis: Implement financial analyses and MIS reporting to support strategic decisions. Align financial goals with business objectives and stakeholder needs by closely working with the CFO and General Manager.

Solution Strategy: Implementing defined financial solutions and ensuring they are on track with the coordination of resources across finance and other departments.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify financial trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Use this data to inform financial decisions.

Financial Modelling: Work closely with the finance team to develop financial models and forecasts. Prioritize financial projects based on feedback, market demand, and business priorities, .e.g., pricing models, costing models, project profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting and integrated dashboards.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure high satisfaction. Act as the financial voice and advocate within the company.

Performance Tracking: Monitor financial performance through key metrics and KPIs. Analyze data to assess financial success and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in financial management. Continuously seek ways to improve financial processes and models.

Reducing Risk: Work closely with the finance teams and partners where possible to ensure that financial risks are minimized based on financial priorities.

Financial Reporting/Audit: Provide all the necessary input for financial reporting/Audits and co-ordination.

Support in Other Areas: Assist in month-end financial and management reporting tasks, team project initiatives, and general process, business, and functional optimization initiatives as required.

Must have

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally 3-8 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience with financial management tools and methodologies.
