Our world-class technologists, researchers, and traders collaborate to push the limits of what’s possible in automated trading.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Support Engineer Lead to oversee and enhance the reliability of our trading operations. This leadership role involves managing the support team, defining shift rotations for continuous coverage, and creating standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient support. You will drive process improvements, monitor mission-critical systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to refine pre-trade workflows and operational resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor the L1/L2 support team, managing shifts and rotation schedules.Oversee and improve pre-trade workflows, ensuring reliability and efficiency.Define, document, and implement SOPs for incident management and operational processes.Monitor production systems, ensuring timely detection, escalation, and resolution of issues.Collaborate with senior engineers to drive automation and workflow improvements.Maintain business continuity through proactive monitoring and precision in manual tasks.Handle ad-hoc requests and ensure smooth coordination across teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Strong knowledge of Linux and command-line tools.Proficiency in scripting (Python/Shell) and troubleshooting production environments.Proven experience leading support or operations teams in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.Interest in trading systems and financial markets.Why Join Graviton?Lead operations at the intersection of advanced technology and high-frequency trading.Collaborate with elite engineers and researchers in a dynamic environment.Shape and optimize mission-critical workflows at a world-class trading firm.Enjoy competitive compensation and significant opportunities for career growth.
