Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to deliver Safety expertise into organization India projects in India and into enabling works executed by the organization's Project organization.

This role will support, coach and challenge the organization's project team to achieve Goal Zero.

cover traditional project areas such as greenfield, brownfield, construction and contractor HSE management. be responsible for development of all Safety deliverables and inputs as per organization's Safety standards consistently across organization's India projects.

Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in safety performance across diverse, high-risk environments.

Be acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Enforce clear roles and responsibilities for Construction Safety personnel (whether organization's or Contractor) to deliver safe execution.

Build internal expertise in construction safety through mentoring and leadership development programs.

Key Challenges

Managing safety risks across geographically diverse and complex construction sites with varying local regulations and operational challenges.

Ensuring consistent implementation of safety protocols across multiple contractors and project teams.

Balancing project deadlines with the need for rigorous safety standards in a high-risk construction environment.

Driving a strong, unified safety culture across different construction sites and regions.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Safety Management, or a related field.

Certifications in safety management, risk assessment, or project safety preferred.

Total Years of Experience - Minimum 20 and maximum 28 years, with a minimum 15 years of managing major complex Industrial Projects.

Functional Skills

Strong understanding of construction safety management systems, risk assessments, and compliance requirements for major infrastructure projects.

Expertise in incident investigation, safety audits, and root cause analysis for construction-related safety incidents.

Ability to develop and implement safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies in high-risk construction environments.

Experience in managing safety across geographically diverse construction sites and working with multiple stakeholders.
